NewStart is a program started in 1994 by Dr. Bill Sullivan to effectively train, equip, and encourage pastors and district leaders to start new churches. Through 2010, over 1700 new Nazarene churches have been started through the program.

 

The program is built on the assumption of a "conventional" church plant, complete with launch team and financial sustainability model. To that end the resources are effective, and the strategy itself has been extremely effective in starting new churches in the United States and Canada.
